THE ARTISTS
Michael Teague
Michael
Teague was born and raised in Southern California . He is a product
of the area and its culture. His background includes working in the
fields, and construction as a young man as well as formal training in art.
His work is influenced by many things and is eclectic. He draws from
sources such as Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, and Joseph Beuys as well as
the Old Masters.
His
pieces can be found in many fine homes locally and nationally. His
work has been in many galleries and has had recent one man shows.
He
currently is involved running his studio in Indio , California , and teaching
art to the ‘At Risk’ youth of the Coachella Valley .
In
this current show he is exhibiting works based on the concept of Occam’s
Razor. This is a minimalist philosophy which states; “The best
solution to a problem is the simplest”.
Tim Shockley
Born in the
Shockley has been
producing small and large scale sculptures for 19 years. He
has worked with many national and international artists in different media.
Shockley creates
sculptural elements for the world renowned Pagaent of the Masters and shows his
