Loose Ties series
By taking silk ties and manipulating them into free form serpentine compositions cast in bronze, I create a type of illusion. Is it a tie or a serpent? If you compare the stigmas of both, “Loose Ties” series has substance and makes you think. This is a very different series for me. It’s a medley of all my art and life experiences. It’s my “Picasso Bull’s Head”. A combination of thinking outside the box mixed with my fascination of nature and its creations. The fact that it seems so relevant for these times makes it a pure and personal success for me. I strive to be original. I think good work should withstand the test of time and trends. “Loose Ties” provides direction for me on an unmarked path to a non-destination.
